Thanks for your confessions
"Confessions of a Desi Doctor" from our May issue was right on the mark. I really liked Sarita Warrier's "Confessions of a Desi Doctor" (May 2005). I felt it encapsulated what a lot of people feel about why they want to be doctors. I don't come from a medical family or a science undergrad background, but there is a small part of me that does want to take my pre-reqs just in case I decide to go that route. I just wanted to thank you for writing that article. —Jignya Sheth
News for Nirali
I really like your magazine, specifically the way it delivers to its target audience, so I was a little surprised when I saw this: Just a correction: People from Kerala are not called Keralese. Clearly, this article was not written by someone who knows much about South India.
